(Now in ...We deleted TV from our home 4 years ago. (Now in saying that we do have a home projection theater for movies and Wii:)) I use a lot of open ended toys. Lego, blocks, little people (which might be a bit young for your kids). A pile of dirt and a large spoon or a giant cardboard box are great toys at our house! Very creative things happen when these come out.
